Common Proficiency Test
- For exam centres in India only- INR 1,000/-, For exam centres in Kathmandu (Nepal) - INR 1,700/-, For exam centres in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Muscat - US$ 300.
- Duration : 2 hours
- Qualification : 1) Must have passed 10th and 12th exams or equivalent qualifying exam from a recognised board. 2) Must be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Common Proficiency Course (ICAI CPC). 3) If a candidate secures 55% in B.Com or M.Com or 60% in bachelor or masters (other than commerce), he is exempted from appearing in the entry level test.
CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. It is an entry level examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the admission in Charted Accountancy course. It is also known as CA- CPT. This is a compulsory test to become a member of Institute of Charted Accountant of India (ICAI).
