  • Management Aptitude Test

      MAT or Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance examination for admission to management courses across several colleges in India. MAT is conducted four times in a year i.e. February, May, September and December.  All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts MAT exam. AIMA is an apex body of management which has been organizing a lot of management related activities and initiatives such as Distance Management Education, Management Development Programmes, Special Conferences, Research & Publications, Testing Services, and Competitions. Centre for Management Services (CMS) is the special division of AIMA that undertakes testing and other management services. It conducts the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) that has been approved by the Ministry of HRD as a National Entrance Test. The candidates who wish to pursue post-graduate management courses and have a Bachelor’s degree passed with minimum 50% marks can apply for Management Aptitude Test (MAT).

    • The application fee is Rs. 1500, for all category candidates for one test and Rs. 2650, if opting for both the tests (PBT and CBT).
    • Duration : 2.30 hours
    • Qualification :
      1) Candidates who have completed their graduation in any of stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to take up MAT.
      2) Final year graduates from any discipline including, science, humanities, commerce or engineering stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to take up MAT.
      3)Age Criteria - There is no age limit for those taking up MAT .
      4) There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for taking up the MAT.
