About Course
A director is the driving force behind what gets delivered on screen. Our students will learn how to analyze a script, develop a directorial concept, pre-visualise the sequence of shots, work with actors, what shots to use, how to tell a story using moving images, the concepts of real time versus film time, how to block a scene and how to command a set to produce their vision on screen.Cinematographers excel in the use of light and movement. They can turn a dull, uninspiring image into a moving piece of art, with the help of perfect lighting, composition, framing and digital color correction in post-production. Students will master the handling of wide range of cameras, lighting equipment and cinematographic techniques, including camera motion, different lighting techniques and setups, lenses and filters. Students will learn to work across the studio, to shoot short and feature films, single and multi-camera television, ads, documentaries and corporate videos.
