About Course
The hearing impaired special education program aims to address students suffering from hearing loss. Hearing loss, either in one ear or both ears, is a big impairment for children, as it affects their ability to develop language skills. Depending upon whether the hearing loss is mild, moderate or severe, the children are further affected in their day to day learning process with respect to academics and in running daily errands, as well as socializing with other normal children. To cope with the disadvantages that children with hearing impairment have to undergo, the M.Ed special education program thus endeavours to train special educators on this count.
