Certificate Course on Assistive TechnologyThe Persons with disabilities such as visual, hearing, speech, cognitive and Locomotor have unique and diverse needs for everyday activities whether it is education or employment.Assistive Technology support to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities.This course provides first hand experience in dealing with such assistive technology for persons with disabilities. Special Educators, General Educators, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech therapists, Social Workers, Care takers, Parents of Children with Disabilities and Volunteers can undergo this course.The candidate after course is expected to learn about a wide range of Assistive Technology application in the home, school, workplace and community environments which suits the individual needs of persons with disabilities.
