About Course

The Department disseminates knowledge of textile fibres, yarns and fabrics through various courses related to apparel and textiles. The students are well versed with the latest developments in apparel manufacturing, fashion designing and textile designing. They acquire relevant skills in these areas and also in designing of apparel, handicrafts, and hand dyed and printed items. The department gives skill oriented training to rural women for income generating activities with the collaboration of Centre for Training & Empowerment of Rural women.
