About Course
The Diploma in Environment education course specially designed for in-service candidates is an innovative program that develops a high level of capacity incorporate environment education in any field. The Institute of Environment Education & Research (BVIEER) has established itself as a well-acclaimed centre of research on environment related issues. The contact sessions are held for three weeks in the month of May. The course enhances expertise in communicating environmental concerns to initiate awareness of environmental concerns in the community. It includes a practical orientation to using a variety of techniques to impart environment education. It encourages a research orientation to education through project work to conceptualize develop and use locale specific environment education material.
