B.Sc(Hons) in Applied Physics
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Physics is a one-year, full-time program undertaken following the completion of the pass degree. The main component of the course is a research project conducted within one of the UTS research groups, or jointly with an external organisation. The course prepares students in aspects of planning and executing a research program to address a specific scientific or technological problem. In addition, two coursework subjects provide detailed knowledge in several areas of contemporary significance in physics and nanotechnology.
