Vijayanagar College was established in year 1964. The then vice-president Dr.Azkir Hussain inaugurated the college on 01.06.1964. Delivering the inaugural address he hoped that the college would work for the improvement of a lot of students of this backward area. True his words the college has taken great strides in the development of the educational scenario of this area.
