Government Polytechnic Dahod is one of the center of quality education in the field of technical education in Gujarat. The college was established in the year 1959 and has been functioning well since then. The college offers Diploma Engineering degrees in six branches:Civil, Mechanical, Electrical,Computer, Electronics and Communication and Computer-Aided Costume Designing and Dress Making, all six semesters(3 years) programme . At the end of successful completion of all the semesters a student is awarded a Diploma Engineering degree by Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad - one of the forefront universities of Gujarat.
