The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education; New Delhi is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The Diploma Courses are affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education Bangalore. The institute is situated in well laid out 13.38 acre of land on the outskirts of Nipani town Belgaum district on Jatrat road.
