St.Xavier College of Education was established in the year of 2005 is situated at 45, Karuppur, near Marudhanallur which is about 3 kilometers from Kumbakonam, the Taluk Headquarters in Thanjavur District. It is a self financing college, affiliated to the Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli. The Institute has been approved by the National Council of Teacher Education( NCTE ) Bangalore , and with NOC of Tamilnadu Government to conduct the B.Ed course.
