About College

This College was established in A.D. 1948, at that time when educational reformation was going on in our country, this college played a vital role in upgrading the in-service as well as preservice teachers-training programme. Earlier this college was known as GBTC( Graduate basic Training Centre). In gujarati it was known as SNATAK NAI TALIM KENDRA. Up to year 2005, degree of D.B.Ed( Diploma In Basic Education) was given. Since A.D. 1998 this college was run by the G.C.E.R.T., Gandhinagar, before that this college was run under Higher Education Commissioner, Education Department, Gandhinagar. From A.D. 2006 this college was upgraded to B.Ed. and affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.
