National School of Interior Design imparting education in interior design discipline since 1999, runs within the campus of Rashtriyashala – an institute established by Mahatma Gandhi. The institute, one of its kind in the Saurashtra Region & the State, has proven its place in academics and earned a reputation of being the best in its class. NSID – a unique academic institute, formed to play a specialized role in the field offers an integrated full time professional education program of 3 years(6 semesters) affiliated to Saurashtra University leading to a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design. Involvement of experts from academics, profession/industry, as well as the faculty members of the school aim with an objective to inculcate sensitivity, awareness and competence to create an Interior environment best suited to people, place and time: with a sense to train a human being who responds to the nature around and solves with confidence and ingenuity, keeping pace with continual changes of time, space and technology within the given context.
