About College
The Agriculture College at Raichur was started in 1984 with an intake capacity of 30 students per year with its functioning in the premises of Regional Agricultural Research Station and Agricultural Engineering Institute and thereafter shifted to new Agricultural College building in 1989. The intake capacity has been increased in a phased manner to 70 students at undergraduate level. The Post-graduate programme leading to Masters degree in six departments was started in 1995 and two departments in 2008 with an intake capacity of five students for each department every year.
