About College
The Government College, Daman founded in 1966 caters to a wide catchment area spreading over the UT's of Daman & Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli and the adjoining states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The college is flanked between Daman-Vapi and Daman-Kunta Roads. The campus is spread over in 27 acres with Library building Hostel building, Administrative Block, Laboratories, Lecture theatres, Class rooms, Auditorium, Common Rooms for Boys and Girls and Canteen. The college is having a well-developedplayground and staff quarters. The college is a co-educational institution affiliated to SouthGujaratUniversity, Surat and administered by the Administration of Daman and Diu. The College imparts education in science, Arts and Commerce streams up to graduation level in English Medium.
