Mahatma Gandhi College was started in 1992 as an affiliated College of Acharya Nagarjuna University by Sri Vasavi Academy of General and Technical Education, Guntur, a registered non-profit society with the cherished objective of promoting technical and higher education. The College was promoted by Prof. D. A. R. Subrahmanyam, a prominent academician, with the blessings of Sri Kanna Lakshmi Naryana, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Govt. of A.P.
