About College

This college is like an Oasis in the Desert. The teachers of this college are well reputed in their field and are pious mission to inoculate the air of dynamism among the students who are mostly from weaker section. Large numbers of alumna and alumnus from this college are working in the reputed fields in Government and Corporate sectors.It gives me great pleasure to share my views with the administration, teachers, students, administrative staff, general public and other stockholders through this site. The demand for a govt. College in this educationally backward area of Sirsa district was being raised since long. This wishful idea of the people came to be true in June 2010 when the Hon’ble C.M. Sh. Bhupender Singh Hooda made declaration to open Govt. College at Ellenabad. The declaration becomes fruitful on 11 June 2010 and the first batch of students was enrolled and began to attend classes in the premises of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Ellenabad. On the auspicious day of 8th March 2011 i.e International Women Day, the Mithi Sureran Edu. Trust donated the present building for running Govt. College at Mithi Sureran. The infrastructure was duly created by shifting the movable items to the new premises and the College got its new name as Choudhary Mani Ram Jhorar Govt. College, Mithi Sureran, Ellenabad, in short CMRJ Govt. College, Mithi Sureran, Ellenabad.This co-educational College provides education to the students in arts & commerce streams. Besides Hindi & English the students can choose History, Geography, Psychology, Political Science, Math, Eco, Punjabi and gain knowledge from the expert staff of this College. The College has a regular Assistant Prof. in Physical Education which has resulted in the mass enrolment of students in sports activities.
