About College
Government National College, Sirsa was established in 1957 as a private college. On 22nd January 1959, the college came into existence as Government Institute after getting taken over by the Government authorities. It is the only co-educational college in the Sirsa district which offers PG courses in Psychology, Punjabi, Hindi, English, Political Science and Economics. The college runs in the morning as well as evening session. The college is spread over 30 acres with innumerable trees & lush green garden, which increases the beauty of the college campus. It is situated in the north of Delhi-Fazilka National Highway and east of Sirsa-Chandigarh route. The college has Hostel, Play Ground, Open Air Theatre, Canteen, Library, Teaching Block and Parking place for vehicles. There is a branch of UBI and Post Office also.
