About College
The College is the first Women’s College with Hostel Facility in Nellore District. Sri Dodla Subba Reddy, a Philanthropist donated magnanimously in the name his wife Smt. Dodla Kousalyamma for the establishment of this college in 1964. The present buildings were got constructed by the donor in an area of about 25 acres in centre of Nellore Town in 1968.The college was bifurcated into Junior and Degree Colleges during 1996-97. Since the inception, the college has been offering basic courses like B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc., including B.Sc. Home Science at undergraduate level. Restructured self financed courses like Computer Science, Computer Applications, Bio-Technology, Microbiology and Communicative English were introduced in 1996-97. Post Graduate courses in Zoology (2000-01), Telugu & English (2002-03) and Mathematics & Microbiology (2008-09) were added later. Courses Offered
