About College

Peoples Co-operative Arts &Science College (PCASC), Munnad, a self-financing college affiliated to the Kannur University, was founded by the Kasaragod Co-operative Educational Society in 2005, with the primary objective of imparting better and proper education to students from the remote places in the district. The college is an off-shoot of the EMS Aksharagramam, a comprehensive educational village, designed and managed by the Kasaragod Co-operative Educational Society. It started functioning with the courses; B.Com Computer Application, B. Sc Computer Science and BBM in the academic year 2005. It has been provided with BA- TTM, BA Malayalam, M. Sc Computer Science and M.Com in 2008 and BA Functional English & BA Economics in 2009, BBA in 2012, B.Com Co-operation, MTA in 2013 and MA Economics in 2014. The college now offers nine Under Graduate and four Post Graduate Courses. The classes are handled by efficient and experienced teachers of high quality and commitment. The college is noted well in the university, for its academic & non-academic achievements. It is gifted with 67 teaching & non-teaching staff and 1200 students.
