Fakir Chand College, Diamond Harbour is a liberal arts, science & commerce college in West Bengal, situated almost 50 km from Kolkata. It is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. It has almost 100 teaching faculty ( 50 FULL-TIME & 50 PART TIME/GUEST /VISITING FACULTY), 50 support staff and 5500 students. It is the oldest and largest college in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Recently it had been accredited with a B++ GRADE by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council ( NAAC ), under UGC, MHRD, Govt. of India.
