About College

K.J. College Of Pharmacy was established in 2007 as self financed college for B.Pharm course with 60 intake. The college is spread over 2.5 acres of land as a part of SRI campus at Vadasma. The college building includes 12 laboratories,4 classrooms,4 Tutorial rooms,1 seminar hall, general store, animal house, central library, central computer lab & central administrative area with built up area of 3900sq. mt. is an architectural splendor with ultra modern amenities and specifically designed to suit requirements of AICTE for Pharmacy education. Mission: Providing leadership, education, advocacy & other resources that enable Pharmacists to achieve, excellence in clinical practice and research. Advancing, Pharmotherapy through support and promotion of research, training and educational program and Disseminating peer-reviewed scientific and professional information and knowledge that catalyze change and advance drug therapy. Vision: Over vision is to give excellent pharmaceutical education & to educate a man in morals not only in mind. We committed to develop confidentiality, good service, sacrifice, integrity & responsibility in future generation. Objectives: To develop student communication Skills for effective interaction with patients and with practice nurse of other health professions. To cater human resource neccesity for the fastetst growing pharmaceutical industries, educational institutions and research laboratories in Gujarat State & in our country. To establish excellent industry academy interactions by collaborative pharmaceutical professional programmes in the areas of chemical synthesis, Antimicrobial studies, Animal Studies, Preformulation and development studies. To undertake various research projects related to pharmaceutical and biotechnological indusries sponsored by the state and central government funding agencies like GUJCOST, CSIR, ICMR, UGC, DST & DBT,etc. For continuing education programmes for the young pharmaceutical scientists and academicians and develop this institute as a centre of QIPs for teachers. To develop updated centre of research and development by serving recent knowledge for graduate, postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral level education in pharmaceutical sciences. To accredate the college by NBA-AICTE, New Delhi and ISO certification. Affiliation & Recognition: The college is approved by All India Counsil for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Counsil of India(PCI)and New Delhi for B.Pharm courses.It is also affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University,Patan and Gujarat Technological University,Ahmedabad.
