The govt. Ayurvedic College and hospital, Patna is one of the apex institute of Ayurveda in Bihar working as a model institute for evolving high standards of teaching, training, patient care and research activities. Established in 26th july 1926, It is affiliated by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. The institute has following AIMS & Objectives • To promote the growth & development of Ayurveda. • To produce skillful graduates and diploma holders in the field of Ayurveda. • To provide Medical Care to suffering people through Ayurveda System of Medicine. • To conduct Research Activities for future growth of Ayurveda system of Medicine. It has 40 seats for ug and 8 sheets in pg in two subjects.Now government has approved 100 seats in u.g.and p.g in five subjects. The running subjects in pg now are dravyaguna and rasashastra. It has well established infrastructure , hospital, hostel and about 300 medicinal plants in college campus .
