The college is a state government-run college providing 3 years B.A. and B.Sc. programmes. UGC Career-oriented certificate and diploma courses are also offered by the college. Specialization in B.A.includes Economics, English,Gujarati, Hindi, History, Psychology and Sanskrit, while in science faculty The subjects are Chemistry, Geology,Physics and Mathematics. This college has attained high repute in and around the region. In fact college is known for producing leading citizens of top credentials. The college has well facilitated updated infrastructure with full fledge technical equipment and connectivity. It is during the post-earth quake period that the college is fully reshaped physically.Having realized the increased significance of knowledge and skill, The college has also successfully obtained“NAAC” with B Grade. The college serves around 2000 students every yearalt The institute is spread over on 16 acres of land with all the basic facilities. The main building of the college has 40 lecture-theatres, several laboratories, department faculty and staff rooms, principal’s office with administrative unit, library and reading room and a sports and gymnasium unit. The college offers on-campus living with a boys’ hostel with 40 rooms, a girls’ hostel with 22 rooms and 25 faculty and staff quarters. A sprawling sports complex is an asset to the region with a stadium, academies of lawn-tennis, table-tennis, football and cricket.
