About College
The A.S. College, Khanna, was established within the year 1946. the faculty is related to Panjab University Chandigarh. It's a grant-in-aid establishment. The faculty was established by the Anglo-Sanskrit highschool Khanna Trust and Management Society whose aim is to empower the educationally backward and deprived, preponderantly rural population, by conveyance a liberal general education (in languages, arts, science and technical education) with a special stress on the values of humanism, ism and nationalism. The establishment is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) beneath Section 2(f) and 12(b). Objectives of the establishment To provide and enrich the tutorial programs/courses in varied disciplines/streams in response to dynamical regional, national and international state of affairs, with stress on employment/skill minded programs in formal and non-formal mode. To undertake community reaching activities making certain active participation by students, faculty, alumni and different stakeholders. To improve and upgrade the teaching-learning method visible of rising trends. To develop and manage below structural and human resource. To go on the far side the realm of the standard domain and organize for a good array of enrichment programs for the students and school. To provide employment opportunities, guidance and steering to the scholars. To promote physical, mental and spiritualwell-being of the establishment as Associate in Nursing organic whole.
