Sri Vadrevu Jogamma Veda Sanskrit College, popularly known as S V J V Sanskrit College, is situated at Kovvur, in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It is a self financing Sanskrit college. The college was established in the year 1912 by Andhra Geervana Vidyapeetham, Kovvur to popularize our very own ancient language Sanskrit. To provide modern knowledge with ancient wisdom, the college is well equipped with basic amenities within a quiet and spacious campus. Formerly affiliated to Madras University, S V J V Sanskrit College is now affiliated to Andhra University. The college offers several undergraduate courses.From the moment it laid its foundation in the ground the establishment became a recognised educational institute in the city. Its eminence lies not just in the academic success of its students but also in their all round personality and enhanced sense of maturity at a young age. Widening their horizon when it comes to their studies as well as their code of conduct when interacting with fellow mates, the college takes the initiative of molding them into better citizens.
