About College

Sri Raghavendra Educational Society has been established in the year of 1982 founded by Shri. S.Shankar Goud and Co, which was affiliated under Osmania University (Now Mahatma Gandhi University) . First we started Sri Raghavendra Junior College in the year of 1982 i.e., 1982-1983 first academic batch and it is an aided (1991-1992) college right now. Later we started Sri Raghavendra Degree College in the year of 1989 i.e. 1989-1990 academic year. Since 1982 onwards our educational institutes are doing very well in providing good results in the Nalgonda District. Since 1982 till date our society is having the immense strength which we have shaped to run the educational institutions successfully.Our Institutions has been temple of learning for poor and all corners' of the society in these 33 years of glorious history. We hold well experienced staff members, building, infrastructure, seminar halls, laboratories, easy transportation and sufficient land for sports and other activities. Students from our society are placed all over the world have been superior in their careers, through proper guidance by the college management and staff members. Our staff members are accessible by the students any time on campus or off campus.The fundamental motto of the society is to serve the poor and literate rural area backdrop students as 85% of its population living in villages, in a clean and clear environment and maintain hygiene ambiance. The district has a rich cultural heritage and the oldest centre of learning, equipped with lot of living resources. Our society is well aware of the pulse of rural people needs and deeds.Since 1982 till the day, the society grew in bountiful and giving service to all corners of the students in Nalgonda district, Every year we elevate the number of free education, fee weaving and all other activities which develop self confidence and support financially for rural backdrop students to be literate and mould them accordingly today's market prerequisite. At the same time strength to strength as been escalating day by day and now it has 2000 students on its rolls with 4 intermediate programs, 8 U.G Programmes and college for teacher training bachelor of education (B.Ed) & D.El.Ed, serving the educational needs of these student's who are from backward district of telangana region.
