Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) is a technical institution located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It offers undergraduate degrees in engineering and master's degrees in computer engineering, Management, and Computer Applications. The institution was opened in 1998 and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to the University of Jammu. MIET is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), while the departments of Electronics and Communications and Computer Science and Engineering were accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).MIET has demonstrated capabilities in R&D with over 350 research papers published in some of the top international journals and conferences, 15 patents filed on cutting-edge technologies, 2 IT products incubated, 3 mobile applications developed and received over Rs. 1 Crore in competitive grants in the last few years. MIET provides a value based platform for imparting quality education to equip future corporate leaders and Engineers.
