The Islamia Fardiya College of Education, Kishtwar is a Govt. recognized college and temporary affiliated with the University of Jammu. Islamia Faridiya College of Education Kishtwar is one of the prestigious teacher education institutions of the State situated in the hilly and mountainous Chenab Valley Region.The college has now its own hostel for girls candidates with a capacity of about 80 students. There is canteen service , cold drink water,games facilities first aid medical facility, toilet library cum reading room facilities available for the benefit of students.Besides the college has developed a computer lab, psychological lab, technology lab, science lab, teaching aids/methods lab for the benefit of students. Internet facility for about eighteen computers is also available for the students.The college has well qualified faculty consisting of experienced staff from school/college as well as freshers selected by the duly constituted committee of the affiliating university, the university of jammu .
