Established in 1981 Govt. Degree College Rajouri is located at a small beautiful plateau at village Kheora. The college campus presents a picturesque view in the backdrop of snow capped Pir Punjjal Mountains in the North, Dhani Dhar Fort a monument in the East.It has been constructed at a plateau spreading its grandeur of buildings, lawns and grounds over almost 100 kanals of land, which houses three separate hostels for boys and girls and staff quarters, an administrative block, lecture halls, well equipped laboratories and a multi-purpose Hall. The College has a rich library having a collection of over 40,000 volumes. Besides, it has two departmental libraries for its PG Department of Chemistry and Computer Application, having about 2,000 books. The College was accredited with "A" grade by NAAC in 2014.Ragging is strictly banned in the college campus.The College has established an active Guidance and Counseling Cell.Centre for women's development is functional in this college .
