GDC-Government Degree College is located in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir and affiliated with University of Jammu. The college was established for students providing a platform for learning and gaining experience through the guidance of highly-qualified faculty. Govt. Degree College Udhampur is indeed one of the best and most prestigious Colleges not in one but many aspects.The infrastructure is adequate to cater to undergraduate, three PGs, Honours, BCA, BBA and other courses.Hostel facility is available for 90 male students in Boys Hostel. Three students are accommodated in a room.College library is housed in a newly constructed spacious building. It has more than 53000 books on various subjects.The College Bus Service is provided to the female students only.The College has splendid playground for Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Volley-ball, Kabaddi and Badminton. Games are played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game.
