Govt. Degree College Ramban was established in 2005 and is presently housed in the premises of Govt. Higher Secondary School Ramban. The College offers instructions in 15 subjects spread over to Arts and Sciences streams. Govt. Degree College Ramban is in permanent affiliation to the University of Jammu. It has an enrolment of nearly 600 students. The College supports an IGNOU study centre in its campus for non-formal education and is currently.The library of the college is an integrated knowledge resource centre that is stocked with around nine thousand books, periodicals and references covering all aspects of academic studies for students.College has well maintained Computer lab with more than 15 computers which is located in first floor of the College building.College has well furnished girls common room with almost 40 students sitting capacity where girls students can do their study related dissussions,read or rest.
