The Govt. Degree College, Akhnoor is situated in an Eco-Friendly environment at Palwan. It was established in the year June 2005 and started functioning from the premises of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor. Govt Degree College is situated in Jammu & Kashmir state of India. and it is affiliated to University of Jammu. GDC AKHNOOR, Akhnoor offers 7 courses across 3 streams namely Science, Arts, Education and across 2 degrees like BA, BSc. GDC AKHNOOR campus is spread over 6 Acres. Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Canteen, CSC, Library, Cls. Room, Grounds, WiFi are also there.GDC Akhnoor aims at imparting High quality education to the students of the Society,to inculcate in the students strong Intellectual, Moral, Physical, Aesthetic, attitudes and Ideals.
