Founded in 1950, Anugrah Narayan Singh College, Barh (Patna) is one of the premier institute of the region.It provides the facility to complete the higher education for under graduates and post graduate courses. Other than these courses the college runs two job based courses like B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Application) and ASPSM (Advertising Sales Promotion and Sales Management) etc. Research is done in the faculty of Arts and Science department of the college. Since 01.04.1975, it is the constituent unit of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. There are 15 port graduates and undergraduates departments with about 50 qualified teaching staff. Anugrah Narayan Singh College has its own spacious campus with its attractive building, auditorium, garden and play grounds, There is vast potentiality to develop new building for opening new departments with proper expertise.
