Dayanand Anglo Vedic College , Siwan was established in 1941.Its affiliated to Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya (University).The college offers courses in the field of Art, Science and Commerce .The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities .A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Dayanand Anglo Vedic College ,Siwan (Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya) in its various departments. Dayanand Anglo Vedic College, Siwan later comes under the Jai Prakash Vishwavidyalaya (University) , Chapra, established in 1990 and is one of the premier universities of Bihar. Serving the needs of higher and quality education of the people of Saran commisionary,it has completed its 14 years and has entered its 15 th year.With 21 constitutent colleges and 10 affiliated colleges,it is offering courses at the Under Graduate level and Post Graduate level in most subjects.
