The D. B. S. College is located in the south part of the city Kanpur. After the tragic partition after independence this part of the city became a rehabilitation centre for the displaced population. The great visionary Late Dr. Virendra Swarup, with the view of imparting education to the large influx of refugees, laid down the foundation of this college.
