Oriental Institute of Science & Technology, affiliated to The Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, is the first self financed college of Post -Graduate Studies in Bio-Technology and Bio-Chemistry under the University. The Headquarter of Oriental Institute of Science & Technology, is situated at Rangamati, Midnapur, presently in campus of Vidyasagar Institute of Health(VIH) and it also has its campus of Post-Graduate centre at Dewandighi, Burdwan. The college is the outcome of the inspired vision of Oriental Association of Education and Research Burdwan. The main objective of this Institute is to promote, evolve and impart quality education with moderate expenditure and to provide higher education opportunities to those who are bright and meritorious.
