The College of Nursing, Asia Heart Foundation was established in 2005 January in the premises of Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences of Mukundapur, Kolkata-700099 initially started with Post Post Basic Diploma in Cardio-vascular Thorasic Nursing Course and in the same year the Basic and Post Basic Graduate Degree Course have been stated. Master Degree course in Nursing have been introduced in the year 2009. Our objectives to prepare clinical Nurse practitioners, Nurse administrators & Nurse educators to shoulder responsible positions & facilitate better education with added trust to short term courses in specialties in nursing. The Nursing Institute is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC) & affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences which awards degree after successful completion of the programme of studies & practical experiences in both hospitals & community. The School of Nursing, Asia Heart Foundation is established in the year 2007. It offers Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course, Post Basic Diploma in Cardio-vascular thoracic nursing & Post Basic Diploma in Neuro-Science Nursing which is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
