About College
Govt. Degree College Dakpathar(Vikasnagar) Dehradun was established in November 1993. Initially college was run as a single faculty college. Admission started in the session 1994-95 in B.Com I year under faculty of commerce with a modest strength of 55 students. B.Sc classes under faculty of science and B.A classes under faculty of Arts was started from the session 2001-02 and further M.Com class at Post Graduation level under the faculty of commerce has also begun from the session 2004-05.
