Joypur B. Ed. College is one of the oldest Teachers’ Training College which is situated 1 (one) Km. distance from Joypur Bus stand in the bank of Kanai Sayer which is a famous Historical area of this Block and fifteen kilometers away from Mandir Nagari, Bishnupur and three Klms. from Gokulnagar Rail Station, nearest by famous and oldest Gokulchand Mandir also. Joypur Block is in the east area of Bankura district. Joypur is connecting place of Bishnupur and Kolkata. There are so many history of Joypur. Joypur forest is a deep forest of Panchet Division. There are two Higher Secondary school for Boys and girls and more than one nursery and public school, B.D.O. Office, Electric Sub Station, Police station, Primary Health Centre, Veterinary Office, Agriculture Office, Forest Range Office, Women Bee-keepers’ Society, different National Bank, Kishan Mandy etc. There are Deer Park, Elephant Tower and Samudrabandh Tourist Spot in this area.
