About College

Raja Rammohan Roy College of Education has been established at Vill - Jagadanandapur, P.O.-Akhra, P.S.-Katwa, Dist.-Burdwan, (W.B.), Pin-713502 under Shukhari Welfare and Charitable Trust vide Govt. Registered No. IV-00358 of 2013. Apart from this new college there is no B.Ed & D.ED combined college in this subdivision. It is pertinent to mention here that a large number of students belonging to O.B.C, S.C, S.T categories will be benefited from the establishment of this new B.Ed & D.ED College. The institution has a long way to go and many promises to keep. Being an institute of advanced study in education, it has promised to provide and to develop itself into a model institute. It is also planning to organize hostel facilities for the students.
