Gujarat Arts & Science College, popularly and earlierly known as Gujarat College, is one of the oldest educational institution of India and second arts and science college of Gujarat, near Ellis Bridge, Ahmedabad. The institution was founded in 1845 as a government-run educational institute. It was established as regular college in 1850, and is now under the direct management of the Education Department of Government of Gujarat. It is accredited from NAAC and it is affiliated to Gujarat University. GASC, Ahmedabad offers 27 courses across 5 streams namely Arts, Physical Education, Performing Arts, Education, Science and across 4 degrees like BA, BSc, MSc, MA.Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Academic Zone, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Theatre, Library, Medical Facilities, Cls. Room are also there.
