About College
Earlier this institute was named as Industrial School after independence. Main building was constructed in 1947 and foundation stone was laid on 17 November 1947 by Mr.Ganapat Devji Tapse. It was named as Government Polytechnic in 1963 with 3 branches namely-Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. New building was constructed during 1971-1972. The automobile block is constructed in the year 2006-07 and the new administrative block is constructed in the year 2012-13. Institution is having about 16 acres, including Boys Hostel, Ladies Hostel, Staff quarters and Play ground. The Womens Hostel building is under construction.
