Brajabandhu Mahavidyalaya, Harichandanpur, Keonjhar established in the year 1987 with +2 Arts. Subsequently, the College opened +3 Arts in the year 1990, +2 Science in the year 1991, +2 Commerce in the year 1993, +3 Science 1994, Hons. in History 2004 and Hons in Sco, Chemistry and Botany in the year 2006. The college has also IGNOU study center since 2008. The college imparting higher education in +2 and +3 streams with more than 1200 students in every year.
