Shri Sangameshwar Arts college was established in the year 1973, the first degree college in Indi Taluka under efficient and able administration of the first Principal Shri.G.B.Sajjan, himself a renowned scholar of English academician par excellence, provided a strong foundation to the college enriching all the departments aesthetically and qualitatively especially the library, the heart of the college, Commerce faculty was added in the year 1979 as a part of expansion. Shri.M.M.Kusur was served for 18 years as a principal.
