Osmania Medical College is a medical school in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was founded in 1846 as the Hyderabad Medical School making it one of the oldest medical schools in the world. It is presently affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences. The College was originally affiliated to the Osmania University of Hyderabad. The Main Undergraduate course offered at the School is an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) course. In addition the college also offers other undergraduate courses and many Postgraduate (graduate) courses. It also offers many Superspeciality courses. The College campus is situated in Koti, which is at the heart of the city of Hyderabad. It houses a four-storied building for the administrative and academic sections of the college. In addition it has an auditorium, about the size of a cinema hall. It also has boarding facilities in the form of 4 large hostel buildings. (and also a small building for the alumni association)
