BESM Arts And Commerce College was established in 1984 with an intention to provide higher education to the students of the area, some young leaders of the town instituted Byadgi Education Society as the student in the region, who were desirous of getting higher education, had to move to the distant towns. The Byadgi Education Society has been running Merchants’ Arts and Commerce College,Pre-University level Job Orients Courses, NBB Lions primary School and Byadgi Education Society’s High School and pre-Primary School the last 25 years. These institutions have been quenching the academic thirst of the students of this area. The College began working in 1984 and the principal Prof.T.F.Murashillin laid a strong academic and administrative foundation to the newly started college. Along with B.A. and B.Com. courses plus two (+2) level Job Oriented Courses in Electrical,Two wheeler and Garment and Designing Courses are open for the students.
