Government Degree College, Sleemnabad (Katni) was established by the State Government in September 1989. The College is located in Katni District. It offers the Programme Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) The Aim of the college is to give HIGHER EDUCATION to the people of the localities, who have small Agricultural land or working as farm labourers, mine workers or engaged in Bidi industry. The college has been Acredited by NAAC and awarded C+. The college is has providing sports facility Athletics, Volley Ball, Cricket, Chess, Carrom, Kabaddi, Games are organized at place available since there is no permanent ground available.
