Late Dr. Arun Kumr Sen founder of BhatKhande Lalit Kala Shiksha Samiti for enhancement of girls carrier oriented education established Gurukul Girls College in 2001. Gurukul is first girls Information Technology College in Chhattisgarh state. Gurukul Campus is huge, safe and compact for girl's education and fullfill, and satisfy the parents. Their requirement for safety and security of their girls. Gurukul is affiliated to Pt. Ravishanker Shukla University, Raipur and is approved for higher education.. Gurukul is well known icon of the state in providing higher education in the field of Commerce, Science and Information Technology. In 2007 Gurukul started post graduate level studies in Commerce(M.Com) stream and Graduate level studies in Infomation Technology (BCA). Gurukul is assisting students for their moral and intellectual development by participating in Central Government schemes known as National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Core (NCC), apart from studies, games, cultural and spiritual activities.
